New Satellite Data Integration

The IMBIE team has successfully integrated the latest CryoSat-2 and Sentinel-3 satellite observations into our comprehensive ice sheet mass balance assessments. This integration brings our dataset coverage to a new level of precision, with improved spatial resolution and temporal sampling across both the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets.

The new data reveals important trends in regional ice dynamics, particularly along the margins of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet and in key outlet glaciers in Greenland. These observations will be incorporated into the next IMBIE assessment report.
